Understanding the development roadmap and how future development is both identified and prioritised for any product provides an insight into the level of customer engagement from its user base.
In 2018 it was announced that PCSchool was acquired by the Nelnet group which includes the FACTS Brand. At this point in time it was announced that we would be making a concerted effort to engage with existing customers to identify where you, the users of PCSchool believe improvements can be made within the system. (List of improvements) This included forums being held in:
- Auckland, Wellington, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne in the first half of the year.
At each of these forums we asked for power users of the system to put their hands up and form a customer driven steering committee.
This steering committee for 2019 - 2021 is made up of 8 schools:
On a quarterly basis we will present this steering committee a list of the next 'highest customer prioritised' items collected at our forums and ask them as a collective to nominate where our development effort should be directed.
