PCSchool allows caregivers to update their information based on the school’s settings. Schools select which fields a caregiver can see and whether it is directly editable or if it requires a school administrator to approve the changes before they are saved back to the database. Although not all fields are available for changing, most fields appearing on traditional paper forms are. This significantly reduces the amount of time taken to print, distribute then re-enter information using the more traditional paper based database check.
There has been significant development with the eForm control to match the functionality of this control. It is recommended to to investigate eForms as they provide better formatting options however Online Profile Update is still supported in its current form.
